Mario Moretti Polegato was the founder of Geox shoes during 1990's in Italy. The shoes were the result of a concern raised by Plegato once when his feet became too sweaty after a jogging session. Since then Polegato wanted to make a shoe which could breathe in hot summers and make the feet cool. Thus Geox shoes were invented, and became the most revolutionizing factor in the footwear industry.
